Frequently asked questions
Quotation, samples, documentation, packing and custom synthesis — the questions we are asked most often before a first order.
Are prices shown on the website?
No. Every compound is quoted against your specification, quantity and destination, because purity, packing and freight change the number substantially. Send the inquiry form on any product page and you will receive a written quotation, usually within one business day.
Can I get a sample before ordering?
Yes. Samples are available for evaluation before a bulk commitment, and they ship with their own certificate of analysis. Ask for a sample on the product page or by email, stating the quantity you need and the application.
What documentation comes with an order?
Every shipment is accompanied by a batch-specific certificate of analysis (COA) and a safety data sheet (SDS). For supplier qualification we can also provide the company profile, certificates and production flow.
What are the standard packing sizes?
Most catalogue items are packed at 1 kg, 25 kg and 100 kg. Other pack sizes, and split shipments, can be arranged on request — state the requirement in your inquiry.
Do you supply pheromones for mating disruption or only for monitoring?
Both. The catalogue covers the individual pheromone components used in monitoring lures and in mating disruption formulations. We supply single actives so you keep control of the blend ratio and release rate.
Can you synthesise a compound that is not in the catalogue?
Yes — customised synthesis is a core service. Send the structure, the target purity, the quantity and any analytical requirements, and we will assess the route and quote.
How do you handle confidential structures?
Customer structures, routes and applications are treated as confidential. If you need a written non-disclosure agreement before sharing details, say so in your first message and we will send one.
What is the typical lead time?
Quotations usually go out within one business day. Lead time for a catalogued item depends on the pack size and stock position and is stated on the quotation; custom synthesis is quoted with its own project timeline.
Which countries do you ship to?
We ship worldwide. Export documentation is prepared for the destination market, and the transport classification for each product is stated on its SDS.
How should the products be stored?
Store in a tightly closed container, protected from light and moisture, at the temperature stated on the safety data sheet. Pheromone actives in particular should be kept away from heat and oxidising agents to preserve isomer ratio and activity.
Are the products supplied for food or medicinal use?
No. Catalogue items are supplied for professional and industrial use. Any application requiring a regulated grade should be discussed with us first so the specification and documentation can be agreed in writing.
How do I place an order?
Send the inquiry form or email us with the product, CAS number, quantity and destination. We reply with a quotation and a proforma invoice; production or dispatch follows once the order is confirmed.
Still have a question?
Send it directly — technical questions are answered by the people who run the chemistry.
